The Fellowship, yeah...the fellowship. The first time I read this I knew only one thing. I really adored Sam. Samwise Gamgee! :) He made me so happy. So Strider was always a favourite but I adored Sam. Strider was someone I didnt quite understand. You know, years later i find that i identify with Stider a lot more and less with Sam. Heh...I didn't realise that until just now. I guess I *have* changed a little bit..
