Road Taken

This one was good, I wished it stayed on the bookshelves longer. :)

Smart v.s. Pretty

Sherri recommended this one to me and it was really good. :) One of the better chick lit books. It was one that people forgot about though. It came out, we hand sold it we kept it afloat for a while..but in the end, it was just another title lost in bookmaster.

Treasure Box

A book I really wanted to like but couldn't. I have a thing for treasure boxes and just treasures in general. But this book was really really horrible. Mhmm, the cover of the book is still inspiring though.

Bad Beginning

Hahaha! I love this series. Lemony Snickett is so amazing and creative and just fun! He reminds me a little of Tim Burton, or Neil Gaiman for kids. Its fantastic! And I really love the movie version of the book. Jim Carrey is one of my heroes and he just did an amazing job.

Little Altars Everywhere

This book was so boring. Oh my god! Where Divine Secrets was more about Sidda and her relationship with her mom, this one was more about the rest of the family in general. It was also written before Divine Secrets. It was horrible. I am surprised I even finished it.

Gone With the Wind

Man, oh man. Gone with the Wind. I read this because of The Outsiders. When Pony Boy and Johnny ran away and they stayed in that old abandoned church and read out loud to each other to pass the time. The passages they read were in the movie and it makes me happy every time. I wanted to read it for them. Silly thing, I know. But I read it without ever having seen the movie and the book was WONDERFUL!!! When I saw the movie after I read the book though-I didn't like it. I didn't like the cast. In my version of Gone with the Wind, Scarlets face was softer, and her eyes weren't so mean. Rhett was less creepy looking and more of a gentleman. Ashley was, well my Ashley was just as handsome as one could be.
I dont actually own this book and we had an advanced copy of it when the publisher changed the cover...I didn't take it. I want the book I own to look like the one I read from years before. Small, red.

Good In Bed

This book was really big at the time. Chick lit *was* big at one time. I think that this book is supposed to be really funny, but I think I am the only one who thought it was really sad. The girls life, etc. She was really angry about a lot things and couldn't just let go.
